On display in the gallery are four new works by the artist Valerie Keane,
accompanied by a projection of a new series of photographs selected for the
exhibition by Oto Gillen.

Produced over the course of the past year, Keane’s work hangs
throughout the entire space, their forms illuminated by draped LED lights and spillover from the projection. Made from Perspex and inset with stainless steel bolts, toggles, and hooks, they float a few inches off the ground. Rubber threads snake along their spines and fall down to the floor.

For the past few months, Oto Gillen has been taking photographs at night
on the streets of New York. His photographs capture the city’s evolving
architecture and the sidewalk’s most pitiful objects. Yet, as new enclosures erupt onto the skyline, the city retains a kinetic constancy. An ongoing series, the images are projected onto a screen in the center of the space.
